How I conduct a Reiki session:

When you come for a healing session, you will lie on a Reiki table (similar to a massage table), on your back or side, fully clothed.  Your only job during the session is to relax. I do the rest! 

During the session, I bring energy to you by placing my hands either on or adjacent to your body at certain spots.  (There is no manipulation of muscles or pressure; I simply rest my hands on or above your body.)

The energy flows into your body and finds its way to whatever parts of your body are experiencing tension or constriction.

During the session you may feel heat or cool or nothing at all where my hands touch your body, but no matter what you feel or don't feel, the energy is flowing. 

What you most likely will experience during a healing session is deep calm and relaxation, as well as relief from physical or emotional discomfort.
